Join the Journal Club
The AJDC Journal Club is aimed at all staff working with people with dementia in your service, facility or centre.
The AJDC Journal Club offers staff an opportunity to step back from the day-to-day pressures of work, reflect on practice and encourage regular team discussions about how some of the ideas in the articles in the AJDC might be useful in your service.
Both the AJDC and the Journal Club are valuable resources to stimulate discussion of the needs of people with dementia and care practice.
Why join the Journal Club?
Reflect on practice
Keep up to date
Care teams that sign up to the AJDC Journal Club receive the latest Journal Club Discussion Guide with each subscription issue of the AJDC. The Discussion Guide includes questions relating to four articles from the AJDC, along with links to additional resources and reading.
The idea is that the guide is used as the basis for team discussions and reflection on practice, with teams encouraged to consider how some of the ideas in the articles in the AJDC might be useful in their service.
The AJDC Journal Club is currently available to selected AJDC subscribers only. For information about how to access this, Call or email Dementia Training Australia to register your interest and DTA be in touch. The AJDC Journal Club is an initiative of the Australian Journal of Dementia Care (AJDC) and Dementia Training Australia (DTA).
