Australian Journal of Dementia Care Subscription Privacy Statement

The Australian Journal of Dementia Care (AJDC) is a quarterly publication committed to improving the quality of care provided for people living with dementia. AJDC is managed by Dementia Training Australia (DTA), on behalf of the publisher, the University of Wollongong (UOW).

This privacy statement outlines UOW’s commitment to handling your personal information in accordance with its obligations under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW).

Collection of Your Information

When you visit the Australian Journal of Dementia Care website, your personal information will be collected via the “Contact us” form located on the AJDC website.

Subscribing to the Journal

We use a third-party payment processor to for subscription management and to process your payments. These are managed by Database Consultants Australia Pty Ltd (DCA).

DCA will handle the personal information you provide for subscription management and payment information in accordance with their own privacy policy and terms of use. We do not permanently store or have access to your full payment information or credit card details. UOW will only use your personal information for the purpose for which it was collected or for a directly related purpose.

Your personal information will be used by UOW to respond to any enquiry that you submit via the “Contact Us” form on the Australian Journal of Dementia Care website.
